Smucker’s All Out for Breakfast Movement

This project started with the most important meal of the day: breakfast. While many QSRs serve breakfast on the run most dine-in restaurants weren’t focused on morning carryout opportunities-- and then there are those who aren’t focused on breakfast at all! The goal here was to provide operators with the inspiration and tools to go all out with creative a.m. menu items and offerings that prompt dine-in, takeout or delivery orders.

To get people talking about breakfast, we engaged a group of food manufacturers in sponsoring downloadable, open-source tools that operators could access for breakfast inspiration and promotion. A dual-purpose site allowed consumers to get involved with sharing their great breakfast experiences and showing online support for their favorite restaurants. The campaign has garnered the support of more than 20 food manufacturer partners to date, driven thousands of unique users to the website and seen nearly 50% conversion with visitors downloading toolkits.
