We know that consumers pay attention to brands who give back to their communities. So, when Otis Spunkmeyer asked Connections to help celebrate the re-release of their delicious new pink chocolate chip cookie, we preheated the oven and got to work.
Designed as an evergreen campaign that would promote a wide range of sweet holidays throughout the year, it would start with a nationwide “bake sale” for breast cancer, including a brochure, rebate program, landing page, video, social media posts, and a suite of point-of-sale materials that let customers know their purchase would go towards a great cause. And while Otis Spunkmeyer donated to a national breast cancer foundation with every case of cookies that operators purchased, it gave operators resources for donating to organizations at the local level, too.
